Setting and Smashing Goals in 2020

"My goal is to live forever; so far so good."

-Steven Wright

2020 has arrived friends, and man oh man how time flies. When I reflect back upon my past, I feel like I've lived two lives! I guess, in a way, I have. See my previous post about the crazy journey that brought me thus far here.

It has been my goal over the last decade to always be improving in some way. And if you have been following me on social media, particularly Twitter, you know that this year I have been knee deep in my studies to graduate with my Masters in Nursing Science. Well...it happened! I graduated in December and recently passed my state boards. Allow me to introduce myself. Hi! I am Michael Ward, MSN, RN, AGACNP-BC. It is a pleasure to meet you.

I really appreciate all of you hanging in there with me, as my time here was diverted to the many clinical hours required of me in 2019. To be honest, looking back now, 2019 was a total blur. It is almost surreal to have finally completed, with what seemed to be, a very long and very arduous three year program. Sometimes you have to take a step back in order to take a couple steps forward, which is what I had to do here with my baby; my blog.

So, what's next? It's time, as they say here in Texas, to get back in the saddle! I am looking forward to bringing you all some great new content (nursing, research, health and fitness, lifestyle, etc). I am going to continue the written content, but have inclinations of creating some video content here as well. Notice the above "Vlog" tab? I have to admit, I am a little nervous about the vlogs.

Thanks again for being here with me. If we've not connected on social media, let's do! You can find me at the top of the page. Also, if you get the chance and want to join my tribe I have here, subscribe to my blog. I won't be spamming you or sharing your information...promise. Let's do some BIG THINGS in 2020! Are you ready?

P.S.-There are some OUTSTANDING vloggers out there! See one of my favorites, Sean P. Dent. I'd highly encourage you to subscribe to his YouTube channel. He puts out some really great content and he is a really great guy too.
